Novena of Masses to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Please consider enrolling a beloved family member or friend alongside the intentions of others in our Novena of Masses to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus beginning June 3 and ending June 11, 2026. The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart is June 12, 2026.

The beautiful imagery and meaning of the Sacred Heart of Jesus draws us into a deeper relationship with Christ. The Sacred Heart of Jesus shows His boundless love and mercy for humanity. The devotion is derived from the apparitions of Jesus to a French nun in 1673 to 1675, Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque. Jesus wanted her to make known the devotion to His Most Sacred Heart. He also promised specific blessings to those who venerated and practiced devotions to His Most Sacred Heart.

For our local Mass and Novena program, if you do not live near the Legionaries of Christ house, we can mail to your home beautiful Mass cards drawn by North Carolina artist, Jordan Avery, for you to send to a family member or friend.
